Evgeniy is part of the MaxiWord team. Managers, editors and typesetters work together with him to ensure the highest quality of translation. Our task is to create the most comfortable environment for the translator by providing him with translation environment, auxiliary materials, technical tools, dictionaries and glossaries so that he can concentrate only on the translation process without thinking about technical difficulties and payment. He is not alone: a team actively assists him in the translation process. He has someone to turn to for advice and tips. His work will be thoroughly checked, edited and the final file will be formatted to match the original. Upon completion, the translation will be proofread by an in-house proofreader and sent back to the translator for confirmation/rejection of changes. Alexander Saksonov, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief at MaxiWord, is personally responsible for the translation quality.

Как синхронный переводчик, он работал в течение 6 лет на радио KMNB в Лос-Анжелесе, а также год в компании Language Line Services. Он выполнял заказы на перевод сценариев и интервью голливудских студий Парамаунт, Фокс, и Юниверсал, а также на перевод юридических документов, полицейских протоколов, коммерческой рекламы и учебных материалов для правительственных организаций и частных компаний.
Его поэтические усилия отмечены взлетами как, например, перевод поэзии Татьяны Кузовлевой на английский, но и падениями как, например, первод на русский песен Элвина и бурундуков из кинофильма Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Как литературный толмач, Евгений перевел (в соавторстве с Карлом Мюллером) пять главных пьес А. П. Чехова. В 2007 году его перевод мемуара И. Альтшуллера о последних годах жизни А. Чехова был опубликован в книге "Chekhov the Immigrant: Translating a Cultural Icon", а в декабре 2009 года в издательстве Palgrave Macmillan вышел в свет его перевод мемуара Михаила Чехова (брата А.П.) под названием "Anton Chekhov: A Brother's Memoir".
